John McReynolds - Chief Executive Officer

John McReynolds, CEO, joined the NVH team in August, 2017 in the COO role. John’s wife was excited to return to her hometown of Tonasket, and John was excited to raise his two children in this community. In August of 2020, John was appointed the CEO.

He has completed an MBA of Healthcare Management from Western Governor's University, a BS from Chapman University in Business Administration, and views himself as a life long learner. He maintains active licenses as a Nursing Home Administrator, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Pharmacy Assistant.

John currently serves as the North Valley Community Association Vice-President and enjoys spending this time outdoors hiking, fishing, and hunting.




Melissa Thompson - CHIEF Financial Officer

Melissa Thompson serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the North Valley Hospital District, bringing over 15 years of diverse financial experience across various industries to the role.  She has been dedicated to healthcare finance since 2019 and previously held the Controller position for the District.

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and is pursuing a Master’s in Professional Accounting from Eastern Washington University. Her commitment to sustainability, compliance, and transparency drives her approach to financial management, ensuring that the hospital district operates efficiently and ethically.

A firm believer in the power of collaboration, Melissa values teamwork and recognizes its critical role in delivering exceptional care to the community. Her leadership is characterized by a dedication to fostering a supportive environment where all team members work together to achieve the best outcomes for those served by the District.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys hiking, camping, mountain biking, reading, and time with family and friends. Melissa and her husband developed a deep affection for the area after several backpacking trips in the Pasayten.  They first purchased vacation property and then officially relocated to Tonasket in 2017.  This personal connection underscores her commitment to the community and understanding of a viable hospital and extended care facility's critical role. 


Kristy Terzi - Chief Nursing Officer

Kristy Terzi serves as Chief Nursing Officer at North Valley Hospital District, where she leads a dedicated team of nursing professionals in delivering exceptional patient care. With over 30 years of experience in nursing, Kristy has extensive expertise in bedside nursing, nursing education, and nursing leadership. She is committed to fostering a culture of compassion, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Passionate about the privilege of being a nurse and empowering nursing teams, Kristy collaborates closely with other healthcare leaders to enhance patient outcomes and support the District's goals.

Kristy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alaska - Anchorage, along with multiple specialty certifications. She is dedicated to education and actively pursues formal and informal learning opportunities. Her commitment to continuous growth drives her to seek ways to improve processes and communication, thereby enhancing outcomes. The development of a strong clinical team and her dedication to the nursing process are foundational to her role. Community involvement and county-wide collaboration are central to her professional focus. With a strong emphasis on caring for people, her leadership supports both the staff of NVH and the community it serves.

Outside of work, Kristy enjoys her farm and caring for animals with her husband. Their move from Alaska to Tonasket in 2020 was influenced by his familiarity with the region. She cherishes spending time with their four sons and beautiful granddaughter, taking walks to appreciate the area's natural beauty, and quilting, which is her favorite hobby during the fall and winter months.


Jeanette Hamilton - Human Resources director

Jeanette Hamilton is the HR Director at North Valley Hospital District, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience to the role. Before transitioning into Human Resources, Jeanette demonstrated exceptional leadership across various sectors, showcasing her ability to drive organizational success and foster collaborative environments.

With deep roots in Okanogan County, Jeanette’s career and personal journey have taken her across the West Coast, Pacific & Inland Northwest. Her experiences in these diverse regions have not only shaped her understanding of community dynamics but also reinforced her unwavering commitment to community service. This commitment, a guiding principle of her career, underscores her belief in community-driven collaboration to achieve shared goals.

Jeanette holds an undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology from Eastern Washington University (Go Eagles!) and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Southern California (Fight On!). Her educational background provides a unique perspective on human behavior and organizational culture, enhancing her effectiveness as an HR leader in healthcare.

Jeanette’s passion for community service and her dedication to fostering collaborative efforts make her an invaluable asset to North Valley Hospital District. She is committed to leveraging her skills and experiences to support the organization’s mission and contribute positively to the community.

In her free time, Jeanette enjoys spending time outdoors, walking, hiking, camping, gardening, and playing with family and friends. Endlessly curious about the human condition, she is an avid reader and is always learning about new ideas and emerging concepts in human behavior.


Dr. Rosie Dhillon - chief medical officer

Dr. Rosie Dhillon, CMO, is a General Surgeon who joined North Valley Hospital District in 2019 after completing her residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Her interests include preventative medicine, wound care, access to rural health, and medical student education. She currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor for the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University.

As the CMO she provides a physician voice in organizational decision making that ensures effective delivery of medical services to promote quality patient care. Dr. Dhillon strives to follow the words of the great Dr. William J. Mayo “The best interest of the patient is the only interest to be considered,”

Dr. Dhillon is committed to personal professional growth through the pursuit of advanced knowledge and skills. She often spends her free time hiking, traveling and visiting her family in British Columbia, Canada.
